Dear Friends,
A while ago, my friend master luthier Juha Ruokangas asked if I’d like to record a demo of his new Ruokangas Duke model fitted with his incredible new tube-powered by Valvebucker pickup. I’d played the guitar last fall at the Ruokangas Guitars workshop, so I was more than happy to get my hands on this work of art again. Trust me, this instrument-pickup combination is something else in transparency, nuance and dynamics… suffice it to say it will keep a player honest!
